On Saturday May 6th 2017, one of our Pu’u Muay Thai Ventura instructors and fighters, Kate Sholy, made her Kickboxing debut in Zhengzhou, China! Zhengzhou is an area of China that is rich in human and martial arts history. We were very excited for the opportunity for Kate to fight in this world-renowned event among some of the top names in Muay Thai & Kickboxing. Kate’s opponent Huang Li is a national Sanda champion in China and is very famous. We knew this would be a good test for our Pu’u Muay Thai Ventura competition team and coach Kate stepped up to the plate!
